Storyteller Lyn Ford shares her story about Affrilachia - which reminds us of the diversity that’s been with us in the hills for generations. “The first time I heard the word Affrilachia, it was like the sound of spring water. Finally I had a word for my family of African American heritage, as well as Native American and European American heritage, from the Appalachian region. It explains us exactly.
